The pedestal washbasin Introverso is a project by Paolo Ulian for Antoniolupi, which stems from the study of marble sculpture working techniques with the aim of concealing a shape within a shape.
Introverso Sink by PAOLO ULIAN
Designed by Paolo Ulian for Antoniolupi, the Introverso washbasin is composed of a block of marble lightened by cuts that allow a glimpse of its soul, proposed in three elegant versions. It was inspired by observing the initial process of creating marble sculptures, where the three-dimensional shape emerges through a regular sequence of incisions controlled by a CNC machine. This process leads to the creation of thin slices of marble, the ends of which, when broken, reveal the raw artistry hidden within. The Introverso free-standing washbasin is equipped with a free drain, siphon and flexible hose.
