General Optics
Thin-Film Polarizers
Split CO2 laser beams into two orthogonally polarized components using this optic which operates at Brewster's angle. It can also be used to combine beams.
These optics perform high-efficiency beamsplitting/combining with a thin-film coating that enhances s-polarized reflectivity while maintaining virtually zero reflectance for p-polarized light. An optional turning mirror provides 90° beam separation.
Fabrication Capabilities
Coherent offers both ZnSe and Ge TFPs, but can create designs for other materials and wavelengths in addition to 10.6 μm.
