In terms of its critical reception, it has a 76% on Rotten Tomatoes, a 6.9 on IMDB, and a 75 on MetaCritic.

The first movie in the Narnia series follows 4 English siblings who have been evacuated from London to a country house while the WWII bombings were taking place.
The four siblings are Lucy the youngest girl played by Georgie Henly, Edmund the youngest boy played by Skandar Keynes, Susan played by Anna Popplewell, and Peter the oldest played by William Mosely.
While the children are enjoying their life in the safe country house, Lucy ends up stumbling upon a wardrobe which when she enters takes her to a mystical land called Narnia.
After this she quickly returns home and tells her siblings about this much to their obvious disbelief. However, the four of them soon end up going to Narnia together and get engaged in the struggles the creatures of the land are facing.
Some key points of the movie are the children teaming up with Aslan the magical lion who is voiced by Liam Neeson, and they are fighting against the White Witch Jadis who is masterfully played by Tilda Swinton.
This conflict drives the movie as we watch the relationship between the siblings develop.

The Chronicles Of Narnia: Prince Caspian Movie Details
The sequel to the first Narnia movie, Prince Caspian was released in May 2008 about 2 and a half years after the first and runs for a slightly longer 150 minutes.
It is also directed by Andrew Adamson like the first. Critically it scores slightly lower than the first getting a 66% on Rotten Tomatoes, a 6.5 on IMDB and a 62 on MetaCritic.

The second entry in the Narnia movie series picks up about a year after the first adventure the siblings had in Narnia and shows the siblings deciding that they should return.
However, they are greatly shocked to realize that time does not pass the same in these worlds and that even though a year has passed in their world, it has been about 1300 years in the world of Narnia and of course things have changed a lot.
We reenter Narnia with the world struck with war and chaos has retuned to the land.
The four siblings are led to join forces with Prince Caspian who is played by Ben Barnes as they have to fight and dethrone the evil King Miraz being played by Sergio Castellitto who is responsible for the destruction the world of Narnia has faced.

The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader Movie Details
The final official entry in the Narnia movie series is The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader, and it was released again 2 and a half years after the prior entry in December of 2010.
It is shorter than the previous entries running at only 113 minutes and also has a different director from the previous entries being Michael Apted.
It also does slightly worse than the other movie critically getting a 50% on Rotten Tomatoes, a 6.3% on IMDB, and a 53 on MetaCritic.
The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader Movie Description
We rejoin the siblings as Edmund and Lucy are visiting their annoying cousin called Eustace who is played by Will Poulter.
During the trip they discover a painting of a ship which is called the Dawn Treader. Before they get a chance to react, the siblings get pulled through the painting which takes them back to Narnia.
When this happens they reunite with King Caspian from the previous movie as he is on a quest to find the Lords Of Telmar. His quest to save Narnia is joined by the siblings.

The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Silver Chair Movie Description
This is the now cancelled fourth entry in the Narnia movie series. As the movie series continued they made less profit leading to a cancelled fourth entry.
There have been rumors about reboots and revivals, but they have been pretty quiet recently.
